What's the difference between a "Like" and a "Homie"?

Modified on Mon, 22 Apr at 2:03 PM

You have the option to "Like", "Homie", or "Pass" on other users' profiles.

  1. The "Like" button indicates that you're interested in dating or a romantic connection.
  2. The "Homie" button indicates that you're interested in being friends, at least to start.
  3. The "Pass" button indicates that you're not interested in either.

After you Like or Homie someone, we'll try to make sure they see your profile too. When they do, if they Like or Homie you back, it's a match! We'll send you an email (if you've enabled match notifications in your settings) and they'll show up on your Matches page where you can then send them a message and coordinate to meet up in VR.

On your Matches page, you'll find an icon next to each match indicating a Like match (❤️) or a Homie match (✌️).

If you Like someone and they Homie you, or vice versa, a match will still be made, but it will appear as a Homie match.

You can subscribe to Flirtual Premium to see who likes you before you match.
